Part of With
2200X CULTURAL CROSSFIELD
What
would it be like living in cities inhabited by people doing
creative actions in public space?
Would it change the way people act?
Would it impact peoples' view on one another - would it change yours?
During
the 2,5 months Guerilla Jungle Strings are changing constantly and moving
because of locals and other interested people. The changes in Guerilla Jungle
Strings
witness and mirror the different citizens and the varied stages of creativity
in this specific city space: Creation, destruction, re-creation, destruction,
co-creation etc.
This way Guerilla Jungle Strings is experimenting and creating public room for
both constructive as well as de-structive actions, as a 'natural' part of the
collective creativity people unfold in public space.

Everybody
can weave, climb, swing, hang
out, create and move the Jungle!
On Nørrebro Market Square
grows a piece of a fantastic and colorful Jungle. It is
Guerilla Jungle Strings strechting
criss-cross the two biggest walls.
By-passers and locals from Nørrebro are invited
to weave their own and different new Guerilla Jungle Strings
and to attach them to the first piece of the Jungle to
make it change, and you can weave, climb, hang, and swing
together. It is a guerilla for the joyful city space with
room for impulsive movements and time together.
The documentation
shows the process of collective movements in public space,
all
the different stages of public involvement from beginning
May 30th till take down Sept.
