At Surubi centre Creative Actions did a 'Pinta O Sete' intervention
saturday afternoon calling for children of the city
to come
and paint their dreams, and the Surubi centre
of their dreams. 'Pinta O Sete' refers to the old brasilian tradition
for children to join in public space and paint one day of the year.
Because of massive
rain, and because of Brasilian youngsters' great joy in collective
playing with each other, everybody turned the intervention into
bodypaint and
paintings
about love and wheather. Obviously it
was all about process to them. Clearly, the
product was not very important to the children, as they began
to destroy their paintings by the end. It was far
more important how to interact socially and play
with
the others!

Painting each other as rain made it too difficult to paint on paper.

Destroying paintings by the end of the day. Playing.
